Application for Adoption

Situated on a serene and expansive 10-acre property, our canine companions enjoy the privilege of free access to our meticulously maintained backyard. Spanning 4 securely fenced acres, this family-friendly area allows them to frolic in the sunlight, swim in the pool, engage with our family members, and indulge in ample exercise while benefiting from the invigorating fresh air.

Our commitment to the well-being of both our adult dogs and puppies is unwavering. We prioritize maintaining a hygienic and wholesome environment to ensure their optimal health. In our efforts to provide our puppies with a robust foundation, we adhere to a natural and holistic diet. Additionally, we facilitate their development through purposeful play and socialization activities, fostering a well-rounded and thriving canine community.

We have a "little slice of Heaven" in central Virginia. In addition to our love for our dogs, we enjoy a small flock of chickens and ducks, a plentiful garden and lots of natural beauty on our property.

Our grandchildren are always happy to visit and help their Gramma with the puppies, chickens, ducks and garden chores.

We approach the task of raising Golden Retrievers with utmost dedication and seriousness. Our canine companions are integral members of our family, and we anticipate that each new puppy will similarly bring joy and enrichment to their respective families. Our commitment extends to providing the best possible foundation for each puppy, involving meticulous breeding choices, nurturing from birth, maintaining optimal conditions in our puppy nursery, offering high-quality nutrition, implementing comprehensive training (including house-training), and educating the new families who welcome our puppies into their homes.

Our dogs boast impressive Championship Lines, and all our breeding dogs have successfully undergone essential Orthopedic Foundation of America (OFA) testing, including evaluations for Eyes, Heart, Hips, and Elbows. It is noteworthy that, as per OFA standards, only 4.7% of all Golden Retrievers tested receive an "excellent" grade for hips, while 50.1% receive a "good" grade. In alignment with our commitment to excellence, all our dogs have hips rated either "good" or "excellent," along with "normal" ratings for elbows, heart, and eye tests.

We take pride in maintaining the highest standards for the health and well-being of our dogs, ensuring that they contribute positively to the lives of the families they join.
